IWC Aquatimer 2009 - The Aquatimer Deep Two

The watch has a semi-circular indicator for water depths on the left half of the dial. The actual dive depth and the maximum depth are indicated by two hand tips in blue and red. It goes without saying that the Aquatimer Deep Two has a spherical sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating on both sides. The watch is available with either a stainless steel bracelet or a black rubber strap. And both the bracelet and the strap or the included extended hook and-loop strap for diving can of course be readily ex changed with the new bracelet quick-change system. The steel back of the Aquatimer Deep Two is decorated with an intricate relief engraving featuring a diver's helmet. Presented in stainless steel on a bracelet or rubber dive strap, the Aquatimer Deep Two watch continues the legacy of the legendary GST Deep One - a discontinued IWC timepiece which introduced a world-premiere mechanical depth gauge. An outstanding instrument for divers, the IWC Aquatimer Deep Two relies upon a wheel train which converts water pressure into an accurate movement on the depth indicator. It is water resistant to 45 meters. In the Aquatimer Deep Two, on the other hand, the engineers at IWC have opted for an entirely new approach.
