Cindy Crawford - Faithful Omega Watch Ambassador

I helped redesign the Constellation My Choice watch as part of their relaunch."She was proposed to join the "OMEGA family" for her fashion scent and because her style fits the brand perfectly. Crawford shares many of OMEGA's values, including quality, reliability and a strong sense of tradition.Cindy participates in different company activities. Advertising campaigns go without saying, then in giving her personal input and helping to give the finishing touches to the Omega watch models. Moreover she is actively involved in product design. The former American model, Cindy Crawford is known for her trademark mole just above her lip. Cindy has gifted her beauty to hundreds of magazine covers throughout her career. She was named third on VH1's 40 Hottest Hotties of the 90s. IWC Aquatimer 2009 - The Aquatimer Deep Two

The watch has a semi-circular indicator for water depths on the left half of the dial. The actual dive depth and the maximum depth are indicated by two hand tips in blue and red. It goes without saying that the Aquatimer Deep Two has a spherical sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating on both sides. The watch is available with either a stainless steel bracelet or a black rubber strap. And both the bracelet and the strap or the included extended hook and-loop strap for diving can of course be readily ex changed with the new bracelet quick-change system. The steel back of the Aquatimer Deep Two is decorated with an intricate relief engraving featuring a diver's helmet. Similar watches:IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Reference 3769.The IWC Aquatimer Deep Two watch is the technical flagship of the new collection. Presented in stainless steel on a bracelet or rubber dive strap, the Aquatimer Deep Two watch continues the legacy of the legendary GST Deep One - a discontinued IWC timepiece which introduced a world-premiere mechanical depth gauge. An outstanding instrument for divers, the IWC Aquatimer Deep Two relies upon a wheel train which converts water pressure into an accurate movement on the depth indicator. It is water resistant to 45 meters. In the Aquatimer Deep Two, on the other hand, the engineers at IWC have opted for an entirely new approach.

With yesterday's Collectors' Meeting of IWC were also the new models Aquatimer 2009 (Aquatimer Deep Two, Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands, Aquatimer Chronograph, Aquatimer Chronograph in rose gold and the Aquatimer Automatic 2000) the first time, a somewhat wider public. The Aquatimer Deep Two, the diver's watch with a mechanical depth gauge is once again on board. It has everything a diver needs for his safety. Both technically and in terms of its dimensions, the Aquatimer Deep Two diver's watch is the hero product of the new Aquatimer generation from IWC. It acts as a reliable reserve, which permits the dive time to be read off the distinc????tive external rotating bezel.

IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Reference 3769 - AQUATIMER 2009 in Pink Gold

The chronograph is decentralized and shows the readings at one counter placed at 12 o'clock. The case with its chunky external rotating bezel is an attention-grabber on land, while the ultra-strong luminescent coating guarantees optimum legibility. The bright red colour accents underscore the sporty character of a diver's watch tested to pressures of 12 bar. The exclusive IWC-manufactured 89360-calibre movement, equipped with IWC's efficient double-pawl winding system, has built-in protection against shocks and impacts. Thanks to the brand's proprietary bracelet quick-change system, developed under a patent license from Cartier the rubber strap with its tough stainless-steel buckle can be quickly exchanged for a hook-and-loop strap without the need for special tools. The new IWC Aquatimer Chronograph 2009 is housed by a 18K rose gold case measuring 44 mm in diameter and 15.5 mm in height. Black caoutchouc bracelet suits the needs of diving surety. The new timepiece also boasts double sapphire crystal, a rotary bezel also covered with sapphire treatment, luminescent hand and indices. The description of the new IWC watch says that "with the Aquatimer Chronograph on his wrist, a man can easily change from a diving suit directly into a black tie". But the water resistance of 120 meters makes the use of the timepiece together with a diving suit rather readly.IWC new watch - Aquatimer Chronograph Reference 3769 - is again on board going to widen the previous timepieces collection IWC Aquatimer Deep Two. Aquatimer Chronograph Reference 3769 fits a manufactory calibre 89360 previously used in the Da Vinci and Ingenieur lines of watches. The improved autowinding system originally created by Albert Pellaton advances the efficiency of the winding system by 30%. The movement based on 40 jewels provides 68 hours of power reserve and oscillates at 28 800 bph. The chronograph mechanism is equipped with flyback function which is activated by a classical column wheel. Stopped hours and minutes are displayed on a subdial.

Review of the Christopher Ward C8 Pilot

One of the great ironies of life is that technology often advances fastest in times of strife and wa***re. For example, the modern pilot's watch, as well as the entire Panerai company, were both created out of the needs of the last world war. watches online are often decorative as well as functional, so the prospect of imminent demise has a way of removing all excess and distracting elements. At the time, watches were an essential navigational component since dead reckoning requires only a compass, clock, and map. All three had to be reliable and functional. Additionally, piston engines of the time had a much higher level of vibration than do modern jets, so legibility was critical. The original watches of the time were quite large because of this, often 50mm or more, designed to be worn on long straps over an outer coat. Self-winding watches lay in the future, so they were handwound pocketwatch movements. Iconic designs from this time came from IWC, Laco, Stowa, Wempe and Lange. You can read more about them here and here. If you browse those links and the pictures on them, you can see the inspiration for the Christopher Ward C8 pilot here: big crown for use with gloves, upright Arabic numerals, dotted *** at 12 o'clock, luminous hands outlined in black and an easy-to-spot second hand. There's also the ecru-stitched black leather band with (decorative) rivets, matte-finished case (a shiny case is bad in a plane -- the reflections are distracting), as well as the invisible antimagnetic case and dial.Today I'm reviewing a watch that I like a great deal: the Christopher Ward C8 Pilot, model number C8SKK. It's a mechanical watch in the style of pilot's shoes online from decades ago, updated using modern materials and the ETA 2824-2 mechanical movement. Let's start with the specs:44mm by 9.7mm, 140g.22mm leather strap, black with off-white (ecru) stitching, brushed rivets and a nice butterfly double deployant clasp.Antimagnetic inner case and dial.Sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating.Small mineral crystal on the back for viewing of the balance and rotor.Signed oversized crown, gasketed but not screwdown.50m (150ft) water-resistant.Matte finish stainless steel case.Lumed indices and hands in the new blue-white SuperLuminova SLNBGW9.Applied double-dot *** at 12 o'clock to rapidly show dial orientation.ETA 2824-2 movement, 28,800 vph and 38 hour power reserve. Hacking, handwinding with center seconds and date at 3 o'clock.Swiss Made (which usually denotes a vastly more expensive watch).List price is 212 pounds for non-EC buyers, or about $311 as of December 2008.Christoper Ward has an unusual "60/60" guarantee for a 60-day no quibble return and 60 month (5 year) warranty. Other versions are also available (white dial, brown strap, PVD case), but all share the same basics. Read on for our review.

Review of the Casio G

Electroluminescent backlight. Perpetual calendar (day and date are visible simultaneously, which I really like). Waterproof to 200 meters, or about 650 feet. The Casio G-Shock GW-M5600BC certainly isn't all that much to look at which is why I never expected to become so attached to it. The case is the standard retro G-Shock square with the corners cut off and the traditional four small stainless steel buttons. It has an inverted LCD (white on black) which, on the one hand, sets it apart from most of its G-Shock siblings, but on the other, makes it more difficult to read than modules with regular LCDs. The overall look is so much that of a standard and anachronistic G-Shock that the only comment I've ever gotten on it was from a Rolex-wearing doctor who said something along the lines of "Wow, they still make those things?" So what is it about the GW-M5600BC that I like so much? It has all the right features (atomic, solar, world time, etc.), and it's much smaller and lighter than your average G-Shock which makes it more compatible with my narrow wrists. View the Casio G-Shock GW-M5600BC photo gallery.Sometimes the only way to really know how much you like a particular web gift is to simply see how much you wear it. I've had plenty of watches which I thought I was going to love -- watches with all the right features and materials -- but that ended up getting almost no wrist time whatsoever for one reason or another. And then I've had luxury gift which I didn't really expect to care for all that much, but that I found myself reaching for over and over. The Casio G-Shock GW-M5600BC turned out to be the latter. The features of the G-Shock GW-M5600BC are pretty consistent with almost every G-Shock I review: Solar powered (with battery indicator and power-saving function). 5-band atomic (calibrates with all atomic clocks in the world except the new one in China) World time (48 cities). Stop gift for man with a resolution of 1/100th of a second. Countdown timer (max 60 minutes). Five daily alarms (one with snooze option).

The New Citizen Attesa ATV53

It's 12.6mm thick, and 102g in weight. The ATV53-2832 goes for ¥115,500, or about $944.I consider the Attesa line to be in competition with Oceanus watches from Casio and the Seiko Brightz World Time. These are superb buy ugg if you travel frequently as they are maintenance-free (Eco-Drive), extremely accurate (world-wide atomic), and they make it very easy to switch between time zones. The Citizen Attesa even makes a decent dress watch, though theLED display would probably bar them from the most formal settings.Citizen has just released a new limited web gift in their Japan-only Attesa line: the Perfex Multi 3000 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, an atomic Eco-Drive powerhouse that manages to look semi-dressy while still packing in the features:Worldwide atomic receiver (works in Japan, US, and in Europe).Eco-Drive (Citizen's term for solar powered), with an astounding 2.5 year power reserve.Second time zone LCD and an analog UTC subdial.99-minute countdown timer.Stop ub gift with a resolution of 1/100th of a second and a maximum duration of 24 hours.Integrated bracelet (nice enough, but a minor negative for those of us who like to switch to a strap occasionally). Two world time alarms.Titanium case and bracelet with DLC coating (diamond-like carbon — very scratch-resistant).Synthetic sapphire crystal with antireflective coating.LED backlight.Battery charge indicator.Water resistant to 100 meters, or about 330 feet. The Citizen Attesa Perfex Multi 3000 is 41mm in diameter which is a nice contemporary size without being toolarge.

Review of the Citizen Attesa ATV53

Sapphire crystal (virtually scratchproof) with AR coating. Atomic calibration compatible with time signals in Japan, US, Germany, and China. Calibration occurs at 2 a.m., 3 a.m., and 4 a.m. The 4 a.m. calibration can be moved to any time of the day which is great for people who work nights. While calibrating, the second hand turns into a signal strength indicator. Solar powered with a 3.5 year power reserve, two levels of power-saving (the first for the LCDs, and the second for the analog hands), battery power indicator, and a low-battery warning. If the sale uggs's battery ever dies completely, it's even smart enough to automatically calibrate once sufficiently recharged. World time. 43 cities are pre-programmed, and there's room to add one custom city (the time can be set in increments of 15 minutes which can accommodate pretty much any time zone on the planet). DST can be individually toggled for any of the 43 cities, and each city can be hidden if you'd like to remove it from the list (to make scrolling more efficient). And finally, you can swap your home and world time zones by depressing the two buttons on the right simultaneously. View the Citizen Attesa ATV53-2933 photo gallery.About three or four years ago, I got an email from a reader chastising us for not having better coverage of Citizen. I remember thinking at the time that I really wanted more Citizen content on Watch Report, but that they just weren't doing anything all that interesting. I promised the reader that we would keep a closer eye on Citizen's new ugg, and do our best to make sure they were better represented.Fast forward to the present, and Citizen is now one of my favorite brands. Since June of 2006, we've written 11 articles on Citizen watches, and I anticipate that the pace will increase. Every year, Citizen is stepping up their game and releasing more and more watches that are grabbing our attention. Although I'm still a diehard Japanese-market Casio G-Shock fan, I now regard Citizen watches with the exact same level of respect.A great deal of my interest in Citizen watches comes from the Attesa line which I consider comparable to the MR-G line of Casio G-Shocks. Both lines represent some of the most advanced, durable, and certainly coolest quartz watches in the world. The first Attesa to really grab my attention was the ATV53-2832, but it was the extremely unique look and functionality of the ATV53-2933 that finally inspired me to do a full review.Let's start with a detailed rundown of an extremely impressive (and lengthy) set of features: Light-weight titanium case and bracelet with a highly scratch resistant DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) coating. Not only does DLC shrug off all kinds of abuse, but it helps give the the best ugg a very cool stealthy look appreciated by those of us who aren't so much into bling.

Review of the Casio MRG

Solar powered with about a two-year power reserve, two power saving modes, and a low-battery alert (the second hand starts jumping in two-second intervals). Stopwatch with a resolution of 1/20th of a second and a max time of 59 minutes and 59.95 seconds. Daily alarm. Automatic calendar with day and date (no month). World time with 27 cities covering 29 time zones. You can also swap your home city and the world time city by holding down the top right button for about three seconds while in world time mode. Very bright luminescent paint on the hands and hour indices. Water resistant to 200 meters, or about 650 feet. 46.8mm wide and 14.6mm high, 113g. The MRG is fairly feature-rich, but it's downfall is that some of the features are not easy to use. Because the Ulysse Nardin replica watches is entirely analog with no LCDs, its operation suffers from the same complexity we've seen in many of Casio's Oceanus watches. The hands are also slow to move into place when changing time zones, or switching back to time mode from alarm mode. In my opinion, if you make frequent use an alarm, second time zone, or a stop Ulysse Nardin gift, there are better options out there than the MRG-7500 (notably Casios or Citizens with LCDs). But if you're looking for an extremely tough and good looking analog watch which gets all the basics right, the MRG-7500 is an excellent choice, and one of my favorite G-Shocks of all time. Of course, Casio wouldn't dare sell a $1,500 G-Shock in the US (for good reason), so you'll have to extend your reach beyond our borders in order to get one.Additional resources: View the Casio MRG-7500BJ-1AJF photo gallery. Other Casio G-Shock reviews and articles on Watch Report.View the Casio MRG-7500BJ-1AJF photo gallery. The MRG line of Casio G-Shocks is as high-end as G-Shocks come. They are the most sophisticated, most refined, toughest, and, of course, most expensive watches Casio makes. better ugg in the MRG line range from around $700 to over $3,000 with the MRG-7500 falling in the middle at around $1,500. Why so expensive? Check out these features: Titanium case and bracelet with highly scratch resistant DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. Push-button and lockable clasp. There's a switch on the clasp that allows you to lock the clasp which disables the push-button release mechanism. This is one of my favorite features of the MRG line, and something I've never seen on any other watch. Nearly scratchproof sapphire crystal. Extremely shock-resistant construction. Atomic calibration (Japan, US, and Europe).
